About us

In the earlier stages of our knife collecting, we discovered knife modifications and were genuinely awe struck, but at that time in our lives we couldn’t afford to send our knives out to be modded. So, we buckled down and began to do it ourselves. Over the course of a year we became established in the industry, made some of the best friendships we’ve ever experienced and felt encouraged by our peers to turn our hobby into a business.

Knife Modders was a Covid-baby so to speak, born during the pandemic, we spent all of our plentiful free time working on various textures and techniques, working on our meticulous hand finishes like mirror polishes and mirror stonewashes. We have two adorable fur babies, our tuxedo boy is Loki and the little cream runt is Freyja. We live on the beautiful California coast in the Monterey Bay! We look forward to working with you.
